Very nice indeed, got a call saying i think i have something ud like the look of so went over to reno to have a gander at this beaut... :twisted:

Sorry dan its gone this afternoon, thats why i had to go tday! They never made reno forecourt they were sold from pics etc from a computer before (dont quote me) they were built....

Well its a 2.0 16valve turbo lump with a massive 230bhp
A half cage (red) comes as standard together with helmet net. The buckets are HUGE, which comes with a 3 point harness (iirc) which is really quite big too, the straps and plug. Recaros are really comfy and can be tilted!
The dash couldnt be any more basic! Look at the pics, dash very simple too, no guages. Standard 18" anthracite alloys which are the exact size for body work and sit very nice and snug
As i said, only 230 were sold to UK, with this one being number 013 (unlucky for some ah?) Afraid to say they come in 6 different colours which i was suprised to hear....but hey its aint my choice, they come in liquid yellow, black, blue, red, silver and glacier white. Either colour, the decal with always be the same...
Comes with proxy r888 as standard, with 6 speed box and limited slip differential. Weighing in at 1800kgs with a top speed of 147mph and 0-60 in 6.5.......
impressive figures for such a heavy car really didnt think they would be that heavy.

Thats the gross weight, the kerb weight (whatever that is exculding driver) is 1355kg

nice, they also come with carbon fibre bonnet and slimmer windows, also i think(not 100% sure) you could get a carbon roof as option, might of been untrue though!

100% true....thanks for adding that bit...bonnet is wafer thin and weighs next to nothing... :twisted:

it is a f4r with turbo, but they revised the lump quite abit from what they said when i was on training course, so even though it is a f4r its not the same lol

I remember seeing one in swindon in jan this year, number plate read R26 CUP my m8 tried to chase it in his GT4 :twisted: but we was 4 up with luggage :evil:

R26R also comes with softer springs than standard R26. Ride supposed to be pretty good considering its focus on track action.
That engine is ugly!
If i remember correctly, i read in evo that the r26r is the quickest production fwd car round nuremburg

Aye, that has quite alot of info. Also the car weights 1212kg with the roll cage I believe.
The toyo semi slicks and roll cage come as an option together, as does the titanium exhaust. It comes with perspex quarter and rear windows, no rear wiper and a carbon bonnet. No carbon roof im afraid. Also the alloys are available in red or at cost, black. And I believe they are insurance group 20 :? dont quote me on that tho. The offical time around the 'Ring was 8:17 although when it was a bit colder it was getting 8:12.
basically I want one :lol:

Also to add, I dont think you can get them in red, and the blue is more like a powder blue kind of colour.
Another guy I know, who goes by the name of Arun, is taking collection of a black one (same as that pic) tomorrow afternoon. :twisted:

I see whats happened......my reno people are shit and have said wrong info and the other info was from a reno brochure but info for a r26 not a r26.r

There's a brilliant thread on CS :shock: about the funniest things you've been told by a dealer, my favourite was this guy who was buying a shitty clio dci 1.2 thing for his mrs & the salesman said as an optional extra you can have the back seats removed and a 3 litre V6 put there instead :lol:

Leigh-anne, dont worry about it, Not the first time someone has been mis-informed by renault. One guy was told his car had an LSD when it didnt and they were forced to pay about £2k :lol:

£23,313 if you don't want the Toyo R888s, titanium exhaust etc. Despite what was said earlier the cage is not a standard item. Good value really when you consider its ability.
^^ Correct. Although I know a couple of people that have got them around 22.5k with cage and slick.
