So Morecambe and York hey! Up for both. Morecambe is looking like the end of Jan if anyone is interested - will have to post in meet bit.

Weekend away in Morecambe I can hardly wait after the positive comments you lot have made! :lol:

the hotel on the front is nice, just keep looking towards the sea, dont turn around!

you would be better trying to stay at the "sun hotel" in lancaster. you can keep the car at the secure parking only 5 mins walk away. lancaster is far better to visit than morecambe. and theres plenty of restaurants and pubs that i could recommend. if you really wanted to stay in morecambe, the hotel is supposed to be really good (the one on the prom), but theres nothing else besides that.

the roads are good, beacon fell isnt far, neither is the south lakes. give me plenty of warning if you want to meet up.
