As some of you may know, the brake bias valve can be adjusted to compensate for cars that are lower than standard.

I have an idea of how to do this but which way do I need to adjust the hook-like bar bit to adjust it for lower suspension? Shorter or longer?

I guess it has to be set so there is a bit of tensionon the spring mechanism, but not too much, right?

After I hopefully refit suspension with a new setup, I will be turning my full attention to replacing the discs, bleeding the whole system, and fiting new pads, and I dont want to be locking the rear wheels as I have done once or twice recently!

Well when there's load on the rear (or artificial load, ie, on a lowered car), the rear beam will 'pull' the lever for the bias valve towards it.

So, i think you need to push the bias valve away from the rear beam in order to restore your rear braking to a more sensible setup.

Although... my rear is very low, the interior is stripped, and the valve hasn't been adjusted, and i love rear wheel lock ups under braking as the back end kicks out. Awesome! :P

There's a technical guide on Retro Renault (http://www.retro-renault.com/forums/tech-articles/) that explains adjustment.

Yes, I have just read it but was still unsure of what I needed to do. I think I get it now...

If you try doing a search on here I think I posted which way it needed to be adjusted when I had lowered the hybrid. Can't remember off the top of my head now though.
