experience with low temp thermo + fan switch

ive got these and the temperature gauge deosnt seem to move i highly dought it is because of these and i think that theres a problem with the gauge........have any of you had past experience with this or with the gauge.....?

check the brown temp sender on the top of the thermostat housing, it can fail so the gauge doesnt work

i didnt have any problems with mine. low temp thermo and switch were one of first things i did with the williams - its not made a massive difference, but these engines run pretty hot, so i prefer it that way. i remember ian of europarts saying that if owners of williams/16v and 5 turbos looked after cooling as much as they do other things, half of them would still be on the road. nice to see on this site its not neglected.
