View Full Version : fk coilovers and the hub
just got my fk coilovers went to fit one and couldnt fully adjust the bottom as the hub stopped it moving across has anyone had to grind the hub bit back so it can be fully adjusted?
does that make any sence? lol
yes the hib needs grinding to give full camber adjustment, there is a pic in my project thread :D
that should say hub
if only we had an edit button
found it
you might want to grind more than this away though, i have got silly negative camber at the min

what hub are they to fit?
i had them on a valver with no issues, also had them on my williams with issues (bar camber)
just run the camber mate, i do 8)
do you have any issues with driveshafts ball joints
etc running neg camber coops ??
no mate, not really, i mean car doenst do that much mileage but i've done about 5k in it running about neg 2 -2.5 degress. that is on brand new shafts and ball joints tho
you cant go wrong with a new shaft and a set of new balls.lmao
nah the camber is mental loads more than when i used valver shocks.
the hubs are williams hubs non absi could see they couldnt fully adjust and needed grinding back so it could.
yeh on mine before i ground them back there was so much neg camber the tyre was touching the coilover 8)
lol think mine wernt far off when it was in the air haha, lewis need to higher these shocks was propper low when i put it down lol
