gonna do a coolant flush on saturday. as im going to be fitting my new header tank ive bought from schakal. where can i get that snazzy looking green coolant from???(is that the correct stuff?) and how much do i have to put in and mix with water????

You can get it from GSF, Type D coolant, comes in renault packaging.
Is pre-mixed and ready to use.

cheers mat. just been looking on gsf site. gonna order some up. as the coolant says pre mixed. i just add the lot? and top up with water to get the header tank to the min max mark?

I used it neat - don't think you're meant to dilute it?

mate dont buy it from there gsf are having trouble with there supplys they stock they had was labeld up as the screen wash they told me they are not getting any in for a while if u wont it buy it direct from renault and ask for the type d coolant i got mine from them today

and yes it is premixed no water needed just fill up with that

if you do get some yes its straight out of the container no mixing required

i know the weather is not the best to run water only
but depending on how clean your system is
i would highly suggest running some wynns
coolant system cleaner stuff in between flushing it a few times .

dont want rust deposits showing in your new tank now do you ?

you will have trouble getting this from anywhere but Renault now, they have put things in place to stop other outlets selling genuine Renault parts

we know of a few companies @ work who supply Renault bits and most of them cant get any Renault parts anymore

I got mine a few months ago, only put it in last weekend! which reminds me I'll have to have a look what colour it is these days :lol:
