Oh and were they bought as an off the shelf panel and did you cut them to ?
shape yourself or were the custom made (shape wise)?

That should read

Oh, and were they bought as an off the shelf panel and did you cut them to shape yourself, or were they custom made (shape wise) for you?

it says they are 1.5mm thick but im sure they are thicker because of the fibreglass backing

How much did you pay for the pair if you dont mind me asking?

It says 50-98 on their site, a bit vague...

Coops and Geesus, is this for big **** off panels or just door cards? I.e that cover the whole inner door panel

I refer to door cards usually as the little cloth trim/or leather trim that sits around the door handle..

will they send together with special bolts and holes on the door card? or you have to do it by yourself?

iirc you can request holes to be cut for the door handle and the window winder (if you have got manual windows)

This was my next question. I presume there will be specific blades you can just buy from halfords that would do the trick for drilling and cutting etc...? it cant be that hard as the company that some have quoted gives made to measure options.

I know ive mentioned it before but ive been really hot and cold with carbon parts.

I buy a lot of carbon bits for bicycle parts direct from china, and i had enquired before about specific carbon bits too them, gave them exact dimensions, but they needed to make a mould and they wouldnt pay for it, they were talking TELEPHONE NUMBERS!!!

So ive asked for prices on off the shelf carbon paneling, a bit bigger in size than you guys door panels.

I wouldnt minds some meself tbh.

Main reason why ive gone hot on this again is im moving into my own house nxt week and the 16v is going into storage in the garage and will become an f7r beast within 12months so wouldnt mind a few trick bits for it.

Anyway, ive submitted dimensions to china/taiwan and ill see what they give price wise

The price should be no where near the online prices so ill come back with prices asap

ones from performance trim come with door handle holes, but no grab handles, and can spec leeci window switch holes iirc, i just fixed them in with self tapping number plate screws with black caps. used a drill to start the holes off 8)
