If you get caught by a mobile speed trap (van) how long do they have to send you the letter? May just have done 70 on the clocks in a 60..

hmm hoping my 45 profile tyres will get me out of this...the speedo is about 9mph out at 100mph.....

You wont get anything. 70 on the clock in a 60 is within tolerance.


60 + 10 % + 2mph = 68

Allow for innacuracies in speedo (will read over) plus tyres and youll be fine

I have 15's running 45 profile tyres, and at 60 on the clocks GPS is about 56

should be ok then...good job they were'nt 2 mile earlier on the road.. :)
