is the williams sump the same as a valver???
because i have a spare one if yes, and will be broke if no....(small accident with an engine crane mMm :x lol)

Slightly different i think. Also depends on the phases as some are deeper than others. Williams are deeper than valver ones
thats what i had herd :(
another £200 the thing is going to eat ugh

they are the same a phase 1 valver sumps... was going to buy one new, till i compaired old and new.

can use either sump on either engine, so long as u transfer baffles aswell iirc

I thought they were different coops but before i sold my williams sump on i compaired to to a valver one.. they were exactly the same, internals fitted etc etc.
But as far as i know there are 2 different shapes and you need to get the right shape for it to fit correctly.

plus matching dipstick iirc..
I thought the sumps were pretty universal ,i put a 16v sump on my f3p block and just altered the dipstick mark , sorted!
