well, after having her for 4 years i gt rid of her to change to a williams track car, aswell as my williams 1 lol

as for having her for many years, she changed a wee bit from day one too day 1400

Gaztwo used to have a raider to.

I'm not sure of the differences either and would be interested to know.

raiders were like the williams of renault 5's

came with black carpet instead of red or grey
colour coded wheels rather than silver
blue stitching on seats rather than red
the colour....raider blue
and also had little raider badges on the side of doors and raider writen on boot glass

no differnt, u hear rumours that the raider had more bhp or the 1.7 engine in, but no, exactly the saem besides the astetic differeneces

Differences were cosmetic, it also featured a R A I D E R sticker on top of the rear window. Rare to see that now.

I miss mine :)

I sold it for the same price I bought it for 3 years after buying it. The boost was oh so addictive! Other car were faster in a straight line, mine was barely modded, but it was a hoot to drive.

Great, looking forward to that programme already. My first car was a 5 GTT so would be interesting to see what they still think of them these days compared to modern machinery :lol: I would think the power to weight must be a fair bit better than the RS Twingo though - the R5 weighed about 200 kgs didn't it? :lol:

well the raider lost, old french cars never do seem to have much grip in wet conditions. Probably due it have modded suspension. If it had been dry i think it would have done a lot better. Nice 5 either way.

Big Steve's 5 Raider is currently the Renault champ having won "Best in Show" at last years RWS.... it certainly is a fantastic example 8) 8)
