F7P from R19 into Megane Coupe R reg.
How much hustle?

Not worry that much about mechanical part more with wiring...

Will driveshaft from megane fit in JB3 gb?

Is loom from R19 engine just "plug`n`play" to megane?

Can I still use Megane dashboard?

Tnx

the meganes use jb and jc boxs anyway so shafts should fit fine, as for wiring i doubt its a straight swap, the megane also uses its central locking/immob through its ecu,

proberly easyier to just buy a megane coupe f7r

Well he wants to turbocharge it. Because around here F7R blocks are rare (his megane is 2.0L F7R) it's very expensive to experiment on them. So we figured we would find F7P engine and modify it to fit megane. When something goes wrong it's much easier to find spare parts. Why can't he just use F7P BE? Are there any issues with fitting flywheel or something?

i didnt realise he had a megane f7r, should be able to just swop the b/e then and use megane flywheel and megane loom etc

wouldnt even waste time with r19 wiring!

Other things are straght swap...

shouldn't need to rewire anything if you just the the f7p block and use the ancilarys off the f7r, use the f7r cyl head aswell

I want to buy complete F7P engine.

Do some head porting, changing piston rings, .....

And than put everthing in Megane.

I need car for everyday so other option is to buy another car for 2 months and do all mentioned above...

If you transplant F7P engine in megane... IIRC tacho gets signal from ECU right? But what kind of signal is that? Is it possibly the same as the one from coilpack F7P uses? Because if it is we could rewire it and retain original dials.

use the megane rocker cover and coilpack, blank the dizzy hole.
use the megane flywheel and clutch.
Use Megane injectors and fuel rail (valver are low impedence so wont work with megane ECU)

think that's it

His Megane was originally 1.6 model, but was converted to 2.0 16V.

OK, so what I put is still valid then, if you use the Megane F7r Parts i listed, there's no re-wiring to be done

Huh lots of info

Yes I have megane 2l 16v

After new year I`ll go into serious search for F7R engine and if I won`t find any than I`ll try to find F7R parst listed or I`ll have to re-wire ecu conector from R19 to "fit" megane

Tnx for help
