My brakes are in a bit of a sorry state on the valver at min
I was going to get some fast road brakes from k-tec but im told there rubbish and should get the complete hubs/brakes/callipers assembly from a 172. I will be refurbing the callipers and having braided hoses as well.
What do u guys think?

not worth the hassle, renew the fluid, pads, discs and service the calipers.
ample.
As above unless you want to spend some money, you can get overhaul kits for the calipers,a decent set of pads and braided hoses should improve them loads

 what he said
You'll notice a vast improvement by just doing that, maybe invest in some braided lines as well

yeah thats what i thought. I mdont have abs either so maybe 172 brakes wouldnt be that much good
But the wheel bearings may last longer
So should i stick with renault brakes or get some fast road ones from K-tec???

The k-tec brakes are the same as an R21, suppose they're a worthwhile upgrade if you're sticking with std calipers tho
