hi guys i am wanting to fit braidded fuel lines using aeroquip fittings.

i know a few have doen it so any one got any links to the parts i would need?

Im not sure how the others did theirs but i adapted my metal fuelrail with helicoils then got the appropriate Goodridge pieces,its in my rebuild thread

Cant remember the sizes now though DOH

thats pretty much wot id do. but maybe just tap the hole in the fuel rail? which would be best?

and wheres best for the braided hose?

if you can find out hte sizes that would be cool

Tbh the small hose connectors that are on the std metal rail will not be thick enough for you to tap it with a thread mate,i wouldve done that myself if that was the case.Ill lok through my records and see if i can find the sizes of bits,got most of mine through Merlin

i was just goona chop the nipples off and tap the hole. pretty much exactly wot youve done but youve put in helicoils aswell

Ah i see,yeah you dont have to helicoil it aswell,i just wanted the threads to be more solid than the std alloy,didnt want to mess about when it came to fuel :wink:
