Renault Clio 1.2 with 1.8 16v engine
For sale is a Renault Clio 1.2 with a Renault Clio 1.8 16v engine in out of a vavler. The car is registered as a 1.2 on the logbooks. This can be made into a tidy car with a little work.
General:
* N reg
* 1.2 on logbook
* Shell has done 60k
* Engine has done 95k, but has a full service history with it. No expense has been spared on the car the engine came out of, including work on the engine.
* Tax till Jan, No MOT
Exterior:
* Full Respray in white.
* Clio Williams bonnet and front arches
* Debadged bonnet and dewipered boot
Interior:
* Standard Interior
Suspension
* Lowered all round on Koni springs and shocks (Not 100% sure on the make, but certainly aftermarket parts)
Brakes
* Renault 5 GTT calipers and new discs
Wheels and Tyres
* 16" Megane Sport? alloys refurbed black
* Brand new Yokohama S Drive tyres
Engine
* 1.8 16v
* Semi-Enclosed induction kit included with sale
* Aftermarket exhaust system
* Starts first time, good runner
Other:
* Brand new clutch fitted
Bad points:
The car has a few bad points, but dont let these put you off, they are easy fixes
* The injector rail has a leak, i think this is due to it not sealing properly. Previous owner has tried to seal but not worked very well.
* The front calipers leak so would need looking at.
* There is no throttle cable connected, but a brand new throttle cable kit is included with the sale
* The steering rack has some play in it, common problem with clio's, a spot weld sorts this problem out
* The bottom of the arch on the passengar side has snapped (see pic) Its not major, and the snapped off piece will be included so it can be repaired
* The paint on the alloys has started to flake a little (see pics)
* The bonnet release catch inside has snapped off its mounting, but still opens the bonnet.
I think that is all. If not, feel free to ask me any questions. The car would need trailering/towing away as the MOT has expired, and obviously wouldnt go very far as the throttle cable is not connected.
£800
