Driving to work, cars parked on my side, cars parked on the other, im obviously capable of driving on the correct side of the road, the other person wasnt, a lady in a suzuki jeep, decided that smashing into my lovely Valver that ive only had a week and a half would be much better than staying on her side of the road.

Police have been involved, but as there are no witnesses, its going down as 50-50 so at least i dont have to fork anything out... well other than a new car :(

Happened right outside my work too.. bitch... but a smack at the speed she was going, in my drivers do, im lucky to walk away with just a few aches and pains and a cut nose....

gutted just doesnt describe what im feeling, i could have cried...

Shitter about the car :(

but lol! Unless I'm very much mistaken, and this is some sheer coincidence, you work near my mate!

He took this pic...

(full size in case you need it :))

He mentioned something about a silver car being parked in front of the suzuki that had been smashed up too but moved before he took the photo.

Apparently yours is the sixth bad accident down that stretch in under a year!

"aftermath" or aftermath.

hi everyone,

i am the person who took that pic from my office window.

we often sit there hear a tyre skid and just wait for a bang. normally there is no bang, but on tuesday morning there was a big bang!

i am no witness as i only heard a skid and a bang. I didnt see anything and it would be wrong of me to say otherwise.

the lady in the jeep works in my office, havent seen her yet as shes been on sick since the crash.

about 6-8 months ago in the same location a bus and a car with trailer hit, the road was closed for about an hour and a half whilst they dealt with the bus driver. again was pretty nasty crash for an industrail estate.

and aparently there was another crash there as well but that was before my time and i know nothing about that.

the road in question is a 40mph road. due to the lack of parking restrictions cars park on both sides making the road very narrow. generally people dont slow down when going through there ,only people who know what its like.

Jowe - might be worth dropping me a PM as i would like to talk to you

Fair enough.

I've been hit many times by other drivers whilst driving my fast cars about. I find it ironic that I am stereotyped as the 'young man in fast car=bad driver' type. I've never hit anyone else, but had my cars hit about 10 times or so, mostly by older men and women.

Fortunately all of them have come clean, though one old drunk guy tried to drive off after hitting my parked Impreza turbo, but Police soon found him when they followed the trail of brake fluid and petrol and found his car round the corner abandoned with just three wheels and a broken axle

What really ****ed me off though is even though none of these accidents were my fault, and nothing was paid by my insurance firm, I was dubbed by my insurance company as an 'unlucky driver' and ended up paying more on my premium! At the time they were already raping me at £1400 for my R5 GT Raider and almost £2k in my first year for the Series McRae Scooby at 21 years old or so, insured at the same time.

Only paying £400 now on my grp 17 modified Williams with 1 years NCB on it. Age has some benefits!
