Hydraulic ligh adjuster cables

Can these be cut out. I want to replace them as one is brocken, but they are in they way at the moment, can i cut them out now and replace them later?

and iirc are a right fukker to replace

They are full of hydrolic fluid, would imagine it wou;d be next to improssible to replace the fluid in the system when changing pipes, mine dont' work, i manually adjust the hights frm in the engine bay 8)
