Allo, another one from cliosport! Looks like a good site! Anyway Car specs:

1993 Clio 16v, originally brought for £450 a year ago 8)

Now has:

Engine:

2.0 16v F7R williams 2 engine using 16v exhaust manifold and gearbox,
decat pipe, magnex backbox, ramair pannel filter in custom airbox fed via green airfilters 80mm heavy duty ducting, magnicore leads and NGK platinum plugs. Hillpower uprated dog mount.

Suspension:
Boge gas shox all round using unknown make of lowering springs ~35mm. (soon to be replaced). Torsion bar lowered to match the front.

Interior:

Full black leather form a renault 19 16v executive, matching door cars, momo steering wheel, williams clocks, phase 2 heater pannel.

Brakes:

black diamond front disks with ferrodo pads dot 4 fluid, drilled and grooved rear disks with green stuff pads.

Body:

Both sides, bonnet and front bumper resprayed in 449 blue, both doors delocked, williams spoiler, phase 2 front grill, rear lights and boot strip.

To come:

supersprint exhaust manifold, cams pullies and a suitable map. Maybe 16" image wheels!

Cheers for the comments guys! I like the white writing too exept it came off as it was only done in cheap paint to see how it looked. Now i'm just waiting for my proper tyre paint to arrive!
The wheels are just normal williams wheels painted black.

Hi everyone, got a pm on cliosport off winston to come check this site out and from what ive seen iam impressed (nice to see a drivingtales section btw). Seem to reconise alot of names off cs, i was wondering what site everyone had gone to since cs turned so shit. Anyway hope this forum continues to grow and heres abit about my car:

I'm Mehdi, Owned 4 2l vlavers, and 6 clio's all together. My last project is currently running 14.1 1/4 miles, and my current project should be in the 13's
Currently with Angel Works Technologies where BenR will be doing all my engine work. Should be over 200bhp, and circa 170;b/ft torque!
Williams bottom end, megane head (AWT headwork) 280 deg cams, AWT thorrtle bodies, and Omex stand alone ecu........

Fairly quick...much quicker than std anyway. I'm hopefully getting that electrical problem (alternator i think) fixed today so will try and get a video up soon...

My Valver was grey Clio 1.4 s. I bought all the 16v spares from Italy so i dont know some thinks about it such as rechipped ecu.

Engine: piperx ik + de-cat.(Standard apart from that)

Wheels: Mk2 172 wheels + my standard wheels every so often.

Everything else is standard.

Mines a 96 N reg, Monaco blue, bought in Jan 2001 at 44k and now just gone over 100k.

When I bought it Magnex cat back and K&N were fitted. First thing to do was get all tyres the same make so fitted Bridgestone S03's as S02's just finished. Then get rid of the K&N and had the first BMC CDA for a valver made with adaptor for throttle body and SFS silicone hose.

Waited for things to need replacing before fitting better parts so Tarox G88 disks and Tarox pads fitted allround. Magnex Decat was fitted at same time as Cambelt and Waterpump change circa 72k. This was done at BB and had it chipped at same time resulting in 148 bhp and nice flat curve. Magnecor 8mm leads and low temp thermostat/fan switch also fitted at same time.

Next mod was FK Automotive coilovers over 3 years back and they are still running nice.

Since then new clutch and new alternator fitted. Battery, dizzy and rotor arm replaced. Supersprint manifold added which hopefully takes it over 150 bhp as not had it RR'd since.

Leather interior from a scrapped Valver was acquired and got delocked at same time as a respray following attempted break in and damage to passenger lock and some paint.

Got some Denso Iridium spark plugs to try instead of the Champion Eons I usually use. Kent 1603 cams and lifters to fit but going for a whole engine overhaul circa next cambelt change including headwork and remap by chip wizard or SMT. Ideally a megane engine will be sourced for 2 litre power as these are seeming to be cheaper (and have a better head) than Williams F7Rs. Dependent on whether or not I can use my existing cams, followers and manifold as don't wanna waste them.

Need to touch up some chips and get the rear arches looked at again. Then either get phase 2 wheels refurbed or go for 16" Turinis in gold.

:lol: Hi all. Just bought me first 16V - also me first car with new-fangled fuel injection gubbins!). Thought Cliosport seemed a bit lacking when it came to properly modded motors. so this is where they all are!
I've got big plans for the valver. If and when they come to fruition all depends on finances. :roll:

all these mods were done by nick at hilpower (good man), with out the new air filter as it stands its 122BHP at the wheels which i thought wasnt too bad!!!

Hi guys.

Though I might show of my silver 16Valver. I usually use club clio but I come over here every-so-often for a little specialist help. Some of the users of this site I recognise from CC like waitey for example (17 and has a valver how lucky can you get).

My car is pretty standard except for:
3.5" magnex cat back s/s exhaust
lexus rear clusters
17" chrome rims.

It has a fully leather interior which is in mint condition. I is suffering from the cancer wjhich is rusty arches but I hope to get that sorted this month.

here my silver 16v not much done realy 3.5" exahust k&n filter did have my 17" on but now got turbines and o yea full koni adjustable suspention. doesent actauly go very far at mine as think gearbox has gone again and its failed mot but hopefully getting sorted soon ehres some pics

mine is -

an f7p engine 'funnily enough' :D
piperx i/k (enclosed kit on the way)
full powerflow s/s exhaust (non cat)
head gasflowed apparently (doubt it) so previous 'idiot' owner told me

lowered by - fcuk knows?? its been lowered just not sure how much

16" fox1 alloys, came complete with one buckled wheel which is really starting to pee me off now!

Alright all, registered a couple of days ago, thought i'd say 'ello in here as it's a Valver that i have 8)
Got a minter a couple of months back, white, phase 1 version with the turbines, 100% std brought off a little old couple with 59k :shock: luvvin it so far, they handle a beaut...
... it's not quite as quick as my previous 300hp/ton Pulsar :!: but it's a fcuk load cheaper to run :wink: taking a few years out of boost to sort the finances :cry: so no major mods due, just want to sort the brakes to start with.
Anyhoot, will no doubt lurk until i need some info, etc...

P.s. Anyone know a lad called Tom from around the South-East (essex?!) manor, well into his 172/182's, pretty sure he went on a big Clio trip to the Ring last year? I used to work with him and wouldn't mind getting back in contact?!?!
