I got a basic mk1 1.1 which im turning into a 1.8 16v very soon, now i've already fitted a complete rear axle with discs from an RSI, but the car is looking a bit high but the ride is good. how is the best way to lower it. and what parts would i require (eg:shoks /springs etc etc) and is it an easy thing to do??

Tks

my opinion would be to do a complete front end transfer from a 1.8 16v. the subframe suspension etc. then all you require is a set of springs. coilovers could be option but that does of course depend on your budget?

Too be honest the front aint too bad too be honest its the rear that is really high, would a change of shocks solve that or ???

Is it stripped out? If so it will sit higher as there's less weight to compress the suspension.

You could lower the torsion bar?
