During summer I've been working on my Valver turning it into a Hybrid - had to as the old Clio Cup Grp. N engine gave up!
Car is only used for Sunday drives and track days.
It's only semi stripped - I might remove some more weight at some point.

Devil rear strut brace (for seat belts)

Performance:
At first it was mapped when it had a 2" exhaust on.
With first map it made 178bhp @ fly - 190Nm.
I was a little disappointed.
The guy mapping it suggested the exhaust was simply to small in diameter. Then had a 2,5" exhaust made and got it mapped again yesterday.

Baseline result before new map was 182bhp @ fly - 200Nm
After a little tweak of the ignition map the result was a healthy 198bhp @ fly - 230Nm
Very surprised of the difference an exhaust and a new map can make!
Best part is i can feel the extra power!
Now - I'm not disappointed anymore! :D

Next step is ITB's - need to rob a bank though!

Whats the "“No spillage” modification of servo fluid reservoir " mod?

I'm sure most of you had the servo fluid spill all over the engine bay.
I've had this happen even when there was the correct amount of fluid in.
Sometimes it just gets too hot - so it spills out the little vent hole.

I've taken a pipe normally used for extracting fuel from fueltanks when installing parking heaters. Cut it to length, drilled a hole in the cap, conneted a small hose which end just behind the right front wheel. If anything comes out on a hot day at the track - at least its not in my engine bay. I know it should be collected somehow so it would not end up on the tarmac - anyway it would end on on the tarmac even without this mod.

Pics to follow....

That looks fantastic 8)

Are the extra holes in the bumper functional or purely cosmetic as I wouldn't mind doing something similar to mine?

@ 1995clio16v
He is a very good driver - apparently that Golf is pushing out 190Nm of low down torque from an 8v engine....
So did mine at that point - but higher in the rev range.

The Alpine is very very quick....
It was even on the low boost setting there because its such a small track!
The sound of that thing is stunning!

The Del Sol has a K20 engine with 255bhp - but it's heavier than mine...
Was struggling a bit hanging on coming out the corners.
But surprisingly similar down the straight.

@sleeky
Holes are not functional as the front cross member is right behind the holes. Meaning the extra air cant be used.
But it does look track slag'ish and saves a bit of weight! :-)
