what controls the firing of cylinders?

Getting a problem with the valver lump, only the 2 outside cylinders are firing, it starts fine but is running lumpy, taking the 2 ht leads out in the middle makes no diff so can only assume the middle two are not firing.

Will be checking the spark when i get home, have checked the injectors are working. what else could be wrong?

ecu fault, but the dizzy controls the spark really, so if 2 are firing coil is working. check plugs leads and dizzy/rotor

well put a spark plug in each HT and cranked it over, get a big fat spark, so that looks ok too :S

Both the working cylinders have black spark plugs now :D but the two inner none working ones were slightly white so might just be under fueling :S
