valver but got 19 16v gearbox

now ive found this section!
changing my gearbox still! (but also cleaning engine, bay, servicing, and making standard,doin arches) so not in a rush.
i have a 19 16v gearbox and the valver mount looks like it will fit but the 19 box is diff, ie there is a bit on the side casing (where the mount bolts on) and its missing, so i figured the casting is different but does it really matter, on the valver there is a little black bracket whichs bolts to the gearbox mount and if i fit the 19 box this wont be going on? has anyone done this before?

oh and are the ratios different? better or worse?

iirc the 19 box is longer geared.....not 100 % sure tho

oh and how tight should the cambelt be that i just fitted, theres about 3-4mm play, pressing hard!

should be able to move it to almost 90 degress on the longest run

Keep the 19 mount on the side of the box as it helps stop slack in the engine.
