whats the best way to take the rear window of the boot and put back on do i need any special tools or anything

fairly liquid and strong cord, feed the cord around the inner lip of the seal, smear a little fairly liquid in there too, dangle the 2 ends of the cord into the inside of the car, get someone to push against the glass as you start to pull on the cord from the inside youll see that as you pull the cord the lip of the seal is pulled over the lip of the window opening, when glass is totally in just get someone to bang with the palms of their hands the glass so it finally settles in situ. Job done

a screwdriver in each of the little dinks under the bottom seal did the trick for me.. if it dont work for you it aint my fault! lol
