bonnet pins

where's the best place under the bonnet to fit them?

I mounted mine through holes already present in the bodywork so no worries about extra corrosion, etc. I can't reach my pics to add one here at the moment but there will be some in my project thread if you need to see which holes I used, or I can take some better photos if you need them.

Back at home now and can reach my pics... It is fairly easy to see where they are mounted on this pic. There are existing holes in the metalwork in these positions so saved having to drill anything except the scuttle panel:

my rear pins are about the same place as above, but my front ones are mounted through the headlight hole ie next to the bonnet hinges on the front, no pics of it though.
