I always thought that this de-bug mode happened when u took too long to post and the session timed out!

This always happens to me, doing a write up and then post - then debug mode, it don't even allow u to go back a page, then everything lost! Real annoying so I no wot u mean.

I have spoke to one other bout this but he's a moderater and he never gets this happening to him - maybe cos he is a mod - I don't no..... :?

it does the same for me, some problem with how long it takes to right a post, as you said seems to time out and show that!

as for edit button, that was removed due to many ppl abusing it, and then wiping any evidence before a mod saw it.

ah now i understand well suppose its a case of gettin the post done quick and right :) :)

Just press back on browser, copy what you wrote, go to thread again and paste in, then press submit, job done.

yeah if your gonna be writing long essays then my advice would be to copy it before you post it. and then paste it back in if you get the debug error

Shame you can't apply the same system as CS.

You get 15 min's to edit your post and it then times out.

your correct on that fatboy, there wasn't a mod at the time to allow that.

Do you still feel that the risk is there - that members would try and manipulate their postings?

As far as I am aware this only occured due to one member..... ? Does this option still need to be in place?
