Right well just fitted my new foglamps with thanks to Tony16v - cheers very much.

Btw, the headlight isnt screwed in tight just yet because i didnt quite have enough time to finish it and i need to swap over the colour coded bit underneath.

Anyways the thing im a bit confused on it this bit here - >

The white stick with the bobbly bit on the end is supposed to sit inside that hole....i understand that....i can 'pop' it in the black lever end, but if i press that lever the white stick just pops bk out again.

I dont think its supposed to do this as i was sat on the curb playing with my original one first and when i pressed that lever it didnt pop out...

Also, i found this plug doing jack all.....wots it for?

that plug is for diagnostics :D

that plug is your diagnostics port.

the little bobble should a ball and socket arrangement and should pop in and stay in

Yea thats wot i thought, but it wont stay in when i press down on that lever. Although it did on my old one :(

its only your light adjusters, 90% of them dont work anyways, check and see ifyours do, if they dont just dont worry about it :D

get the lamp in place, put the adjuster in place, twist to lock, firmly press lever, should click in.

If not I can have a look.
