right obviously getting a pas rack too hot is fatal as the fluid will boil, but what about a manual rack

i assume like others a clio manual rack is packed with grease, so is there a good chance the grease will turn to liquid and boil, meaning the rack internals are very poorly lubricated, leading to premature failure?

if i'm correct i think i need to invest in some more heat barrier material, its expensive stuff too :(

surely the 172 setup doesnt come that much closer that the o/e heatshield is useless? or is it all a bit botchtastic to make it all fit?
