I know this is the williams site but there seem to be a lot of 1.8 16v users on here so could anyone tell me if the 1.8 16v engine is a non interference engine!?

Cheers

Stu

PS my father in law just bought that mint 29,000 mile williams 3 a few of you may have seen advertised.

I've just bought a valver as a track slag!

as it what way mate...

i interfere with mine all the time...

if you mean the engine settings and map then yes but the ecu can be re mapped by a few specialist's to allow cams headwork etc to be included in the system.. 8)

or you can go standalone if you want to upgrade further..

No sorry mate, should have been more specific. If the cambelt snaps will the valves hit the pistons. Thats either interfere or non interference!
