rubber seal between front indicator and wing

one of my valvers has a little rubber seal between the front indicator and the wing (so about 10cm long?) - It has these on both sides and they look like they're meant to be there...

I don't recall seeing them on other clios (and my other ph1 doesnt have them)... are they standard? cause I quite like them and they make the panel gap look a lot nicer :D

I can't for the life of my find the part on dialogys either (and my local dealer's head would probably explode if i got him to look for me..)

anyone got any info on them? as I'd like a couple more :D - I'm picky like that ;)

I've got them 8)

afaik they are std, I bought new indicators off ebay and they had them on, most old ones have probably crumbled away or gone

they come attached to the indicators usually from new and get lost very easily!

I cut an old wiper to size on each size and popped it in - looks the same!

standard items from Renault are quite respectable - about £12 each - make quite a difference to the look of the car! :D

as above, they are std fitment and come on the new units, which arent too expensive from renault

I'm effectively paying £24 for 2 strips of rubber though!

if i got new indicators, id have to get new headlamps too!

depends how bad your headlights are.... you can pick up a non-original part on fleabay for a few quid - I'll flog you my old lenses of you wish and you can take the rubber off them....

1. order side repeaters from reno
2. go and pick them up
3. open them in the car, quickly take out the rubber bits
4. return to reno and say wtf.....no rubbers surrounds here
5. give me my money back!
6. leave.....job done.....aye!
