Hi everyone :D

Was a little bored at work yesterday so sat around thinking about what i could do to my car in the evening to prepare it for pod at the weekend.

I decided my K&N air filter was going to be a bit of a problem as it would be giving me loads of heatsoak.

So.. as i had a throttle body adaptor for a turbo sitting around, some piping, and a ram air filter, i came up with this:

Yes, that is a dump valve you can see lol, but obviously won't work until i put the turbo on!

As you can see i've got some piping which leads up to a hole just behind the passenger side headlight. This hole isn't cut, the hole already exists but i think has a plastic cover over it (mine didn't).

I then fed the piping through the hole and connected it to my ram air filter:

Please excuse the gash blue wire, i had to use something to hold the air filter away from the wheel, lol.

I also re-located my battery behind the passenger seat. No pics of that but will put some up soon.

All in all, took ages to do and was working in the dark but i think it turned out pretty well. Took it out for a road test and seems to pick up a little better top end. Should hopefully give me a better time at pod :)

lol at the BOV still attached to the turbo intake :D

looks cool though, i have something similar running on the dimma engine now :D

did it earlier in the week, but using some 63mm flexy hose rather then the silicon and metal

Not a bad job mate!

My air feed will be getting sorted before Pod as it has popped off the bottom intake bit to the air box.
