Question 2 - Eye/Remote locking

I have not had any central locking for ages...

Basically the sunroof was leaking for ages and it kept ****ing up the ecu up and I couldnt start the car.

Now I have a phase 1 ecu but ever since the central locking hasnt worked since this was fixed..

Question is

Is the remote central locking fob coded to anything?

Is it the eye its linked too?

Or is it linked to the ecu, is this why it aint working?

not sure on the clio but on slightly older Lagunas they are coded to a decoder ecu box, not the eye receiver

i dont think its coded to the ecu, as i put the looms motors etc from a valver and the plip into my 1.2 and the central locking worked fine.

Does it all work from the key in the door ? or does that just open 1 door

clios are the same. theres a litle black biox under/behind the drivers side dash speaker.

i tried using a ph1 plip and reciever in a ph2 didnt want to know! ended up buying a remote central locking kit off ebay
