well after 2 weeks of cleaning sorting the rust and painting the wide track bits i got off a mate they was finally ready to be fitted.
started off well everything went to plan, a couple of snapped bolts as usual lol the only real problem came when i couldnt get the bearings off the drivers side driveshaft so i could use to boot in the end i ended up taking a grinder to the driveshaft as renault wanted 50 quid just for the rubber :O.
i also used my 16v suspension as i couldnt undo the top mounts without killing them so thought id use my suspension and have some camber and see how it goes.
after that it was all straight forward. took longer than i thought but i cleaned as much as i could up.

all the bits that i had painted

poor pics but you can kinda see the camber lol.

also as abit of fluke i already had williams hoses so didnt have to put the ones i got on and when fitting it all i did the tracking by eye and it turned out it was perfect lol the guy said he couldnt make a single adjustment as it was spot on saved me 25 quid

bad tracking will demolish tyres quicker than excessive camber

as said its a total myth camber killing tyres, tracking does the damage

good work mate, camber rocks
