its a plague a both my houses, well actually just 0062 :lol:

question is how far gone can a front inner arch be before its a write-off? i can push my finger through the inner front passenger arch under the relay/loom connection box :shock:

its not structural there but any holes and corrosion will be a potential m.o.t failure..

that will be covered if u have a arch liner in so it wont be spotted by mr mot.


its a easy repair actually. two pieces needed to make it good. Also u will find some rust on the inner wing near the strut tower....again a new bit of metal will have that sorted.

laffin, the part of the inner wing that the splash sheild mount to, the one that goes up and over, not the front bumper shield, is also parting company from whatever its sposed to be mounted to, weld up again?

Coops mate, if thats all there is dont worry about it to much. ive just spent the past 6 week extensivly welding my williams. I have gone a bit ott in places though so i shouldnt have to do it again. Parts i replaced are front panel, 2x sills outer and inner, 2x rear arches, a few patches on floor pan where drain holes are. Most of the problems were down to sub standard repair works by other owners. Should be getting resprayed next week.

well it need arches and sills aswell, but not badly so that can wait :lol:
