I posted up a couple of months ago i was doing my rear arches and sills. Well things dindt go to plan and it went down hill rapidly. I ended up rebuilding inner sills, new front panel, repair work on the floor. All the glass out. 1 new door and removing car phone arieal in roof. Things are at last moving on and primer is started to go on.

Yeah, if i had known it was going to get as extensive as this i would have walked away from buying it. Problem is what starts out as a simple job of new arches and sills soon becomes a bit of a major rebuild. The problem areas were all hidden like the inner sills and front panel ect. But now i know all the crud has been cut out and new metal in it should be ok. Ive also baught 10 liters of waxoil to pump in every nook and cranny. :D

i deffo its certainly thick stuff cold i helped a mate do his 16v nova in the summer. When he took for a run afterwards i was following him in my car and all you could see was white smoke and a bad candle smell. :)
I have been lucky though as i used to work for paul who is working on my car so it aint costing that much and im rewiring his workshop so its a bit of a trade swop.
