in the guides at work it says something like 4.3 but i thought it took more

isnt their 2 different sumps aswell, mines got a blue blob on the dipstick

i put 6 in mine yesterday but it still wasnt full lol !
it took about 6.2 L

Haynes quotes something like 4.2 :? . Thats a load of shit though. It takes 6 liters and maybe a tad more.

Yeah haynes quotes 4.2 but guess this isn't up to maximum. Can be up to 1.1 litres between min and max so add that plus the 0.2 required to fill the filter.

So think you will find it is in the region of 5.5 which is a bugger when Castrol RS (half price in Halfords at the mo) and Mobil 1 come in 4 litres. So you need 2 really for complete refill and remainder for topping up.

I put 5L in last w/e doing the oil change on my williams and it's spot on right at the top of the dip stick :)

well mine was on max last change, and it either took 4.5L or 5.5L

You have to let it settle. Turn engine over and let it pump around and you will then have to refull again to get to max mark.

I filled 5.5 litres of Mobil 1 and it was 3/4 on dipstick between min and max.

well i checked last night at Shell and the bottle of oil i used was a 4L one, so mine takes about 4.5L
