Bastard wheel bolt has snapped in me wheel! ****s sake.

Head has come off.

Any tips on getting it out?

Last time it happened, I just drilled down the middle a couple of times.

Can anyone expand a bit more on better ways?

Couple of ways to try.
Firstly remove the wheel.
Can try just tapping it round with a hammer and punch.
Or remove the brake disc and get a pair of mole grips on either the front or back of it.

the best way is to weld a nut over the broken bolt, the heat will make loose, and you can use a tool and untighten the broken bolt..

I've seen that done and was amazed by its effectiveness

i snapped a locking bolt the weekend, just drilled into it and managed to tap it around with a screwdriver and hammer, cost me 30quid for a whole new set though
