Hi
Has anyone got any info on Springs for a Williams 1,
I need a new front spring for my Williams 1, the original has broke. Renault are charing £70 odd quid for a spring.
I see Apex offer 2 for the same price, has anyone experience of Apex springs? Is it a much harder ride and much lower?

cheers
Nick

Ride is fine but they'll lower the car so you'll have some issues with the tyres rubbing on the arches when turning the wheels.

Think 1.8 16v ones are the same so you could get them from a factor.

I'm sure someone can confirm though

try and find yourself a set of 172 or 172 cup springs. get a pair and change both of them.

if you wanna get them from Renault then again buy two. hardly want one worn spring and one new one
