New discs and bearings? Help needed :-s

Well, now my car sounds like a B52 bomber at 60mph LoL :lol: I think I need to get the rear bearings done.

Might as well get new rear discs as well...

Does anyone sell the discs with the bearings pressed in?

BB used to but now their website isn't in existence by the looks of it...

I'm confused by the GSF website too :oops:

Are
R41304 WHEEL BEARING-REAR CLIO 16v/ABS DISC BRAKES 14.25
suitable for a non-ABS car?

And do they fit
R60332 BRAKE DISC-REAR CLIO ALL TYPES W/OUT ABS; 15.95
?



Also, front discs - do they need bearings at the same time? Or are the bearings separate?

rear discs have the bearings already in place - best to get them direct from Renault - you just have to identify whether you have ABS or not... front discs do not come with any bearings at all... hope helps.. :)

re: the fronts, do I need bearings if I get new discs? They don't need the old ones pressed in do they? It's a different set up, isn't it?? :oops:

i had to get genuine renault ones. the abs ring was different with the ones from gsf.

infact ive never had a good set of discs from gsf. everything else has been ok.

Yes, it's a different set up, so if you need new discs just get discs, if you need new bearings just get bearings. There's not much point doing the bearings now if they do not already show signs of being on their way out.

I just bought a set of rear discs off fleabay that already have the bearings pressed in. How much are they from Renault? BTW, Cressing is my local dealer too!
