View Full Version : Exhaust fumes in my car!

Yet another question...!

Been driving my valver since saturday and ive realised i feel ill!

Theres a bit of an exhaust fume leakage somewhere and theyre getting into the car!

Anyone else suffered this?

The exhaust has a slight blow so im hoping its that cus its an easy fix!

best to get that fixed before drivin your car again or u end up dead.....that carbon monoxide tends to have this effect.

try your manifold to downpipe joint (firering) as well as the manifold itself to see if its cracked

get this sorted asap....my cousin has this for months without realising and it killed his dog and caused brain damage to him...effecting his short term memory!

This was over months....he wasnt aware of a leak as he had got used to it, it was when someone else got in the car they said they could smell fumes!

my car stinks of fumes on the over run but im sure having no interior doesnt help with this

Doesn't help that the heater intake pipe goes down towards the downpipe - cat flange

i'd say manifold onto the next bit (i know very techinal) happened to mine and stunk like a dead stout!

That explains a lot! Mine is stripped out with a side exit and it really stinks inside the car. Would probably explain why my memory is so bad then, LOL

I thought the blower sucked air from the scuttle area?
