Couple of little service questions. Cars now on 108k so time for some work

Is it best to go for a 5w40 fully synthetic oil or a 10w40 semi-synthetic?

Also, does anyone bother using distilled water in the cooland system (as well as anti-freeze obviuosly), or just normal tap water and anti-freeze?

And is it worth getting a dot 5 brake fluid over a dot 4? (standard brake set-up)

I personally would go with either a 5w or 10w/40 fully synth.

Only ever use normal tap water in the cooling system.

Stick to a decent Dot4 fluid.

you could use the Renault coolant, i do and its actually quite good, also pre mixed
