I spoke to a friend th othr day bout a hole in carpet of williams. its covered by a floor mat nicely but its still unsightly, so I was thinkg about getting another carpet and swopping it. he said although its not difficult, its a aoin in the arse and long to sort. He suggested that you can get a firm to patch in fibres and colour match it up. This true? Any advice from people bout this?

yes - they will glue a patch in from behind then add pva glue - then either using some spare carpet or blue fibre strands dust it on and once the glue is set a invisible repair

Yes it can be done, they can weave in a new patch and then blend it in but not sure on the costs.

A lot of seen go there - I think its the padding underneath that flattens over time and any excess weight pulls the carpet over.

It's not that hard to swap a carpet over!

As soon as you have removed the front seats it's a piece of cake.

Either or.

Carpet will need removing so not a 5 min job.

that reminds me how much would a pair of seat frames be for a willy? or even a loan? I need to coat mine as its the last thing I need to do to the inside
