if youve got the crank pulley on the end, set it so the dot is at 6 'o clock but make sure the engine is vertical.

Otherwise, i.e. if the head is off, use a DTI to measure piston travel to find true TDC.

stick a aln key into the TDC locking hole in the flywheel side front of the block, when it locks fully in both directions ur done 8)
