Doorcard removal? Passenger lock not working 100% of time

Hi

Passenger lock doesnt always unlock tried to remove doorcard but i think there is another torx screw i have missed under the plastic grab handle on the doorcard, how do you get to it?

You have the torx screws in the:

Door handle x2
The Door latch x1
The rubbish collector x 4-5 iirc

Undo these, and remove the mirror blank.
Then you pull the door card towards you, to brake the glue.
If this doesn't work you can use a scraper etc to brake the seal.
Then you can slide the door card up and it will come off the door.
Then angle the door latch so you can fit it through the door card.

And you have the bare door. Just be careful of the glue they use, horrible stuff.

Im abit gutted coz i have taken it off and after abit of diagnosis i think its the alarm not giving the solenoids enough power?! When the engines running you can use the button by the gear lever to unlock and lock the car no problem. As soon as the engines not running the lock doesnt work?

Is this an issue with the back up battery on the alarm, i have the Toad Ai606 Cat 1 or maybe loose connection?
