r all williams ecu's the same????ie can i put in a chipped ecu from a willy 1 into a willy 3..

not 100% sure mate.

think 1's and 2's are but not sure on a 3.

give it a try ?

I know 2live tryed a 2 in a 1 before but carnt remember what the outcome was!

All of the ECU I have ever looked at 1's 2's and 3's have all been identical. It was only on the 16v that Renault upgraded the ECU's.

they upgraded them by means of immobiliser... unfortunately that can lead to problems....naturally i have an ancient r19 ecu to change the actual ecu chip. over to a 2l one..grrr

I had a 2 in my 3.. and Mat has my old 3 ECU on his Williams 2 Engine'd Hybrid..
