There's been lots of posts about tyres, have a search ;) lol

F1s are my tyre of choice as you won't get better in the wet!

Around £50 a corner from mytyres in 185/55/15 :)

MY friend had P6000 before... it was atrocious.

Toyo Proxes T1-R for the win. Cheap and really very good. I love it.

p6000's AVOID.

T1R's, nice and cheap, good all round performance, 34quid per corner in 195/50/15 flavour, looking at plus 10quid per corner fitted.

I just had 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1's fitted in 195/50/15 fitment today, it's made such a massive difference to grip, they replaced my somewhat worn F1's. It cost me 52quid per corner fitted from blackcircles.com, or 38quid delivered if you have someone else to fit them for you.

BTW you really should try using the search function on this forum, this tyre question has come up millions of times before. There is a lot of information already on the forum.

im guessing with that price your talking about 185/55/15, because a 195/50/15 is £53 fitted at CostCo at the moment

I'd beg to differ on that one!

My personal Fav's are Sportrac 3's - Supreme wet weather handling and just as good in the dry - keep yer poo F1's! glad I got shot of em!

Daz, just checking. With the Sportrac 3 wet handling, are you talking about damp wet handling or very wet handling with standing water?

Always good to about another extreme wet weather tyre, though I probably can't get it here.

Ask this guy if he's got any:

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/moongrant

He sorted me out for £53 incl delivery :)

May not have any left though!

just out of interest, why do they have to be 185/55's? and not any other size? 195/50's would give you superior handling

Thats what I liked about them both in the damp and the serious rainy days they hold their own.

Good to know that they are safe in all wet conditions. The weakness of the F1-GSD2 (have not tried the D3) was they were terrible in damp but fantastic in very heavy downpour. Hope Goodyear fixed that issue in the D3s. Will check about for the Vredesteins the next time I swap out of my T1Rs.
