Hi iam lookinf for CLEAN STANDARD WILLIAMS (Part from back box)

no rust low milage FSH . Would prefer Wiliams 3 but open to 1,2 depending on con.

The main point for me is that it would have come from a loving home and a long owner not just used for a year trashed and red line at every gear change when on the road .

A 38 going on 21 waiting with pocket money to spend LOL

I'm 35 and now onto my second Williams life!!

You may get a Willy 2 for about £3k, you will have to spend more for a 3 or even more for a 1 for the condition you want.

Let us know how your quest goes - there seem to be a few nice cars around at the moment!! :D

Wow makes me feel like a Young Williams Owner now :D

I reckon if you look around you will find yourself a very tidy Williams 2 or 3 for the £3000 budget.
Personally, I think you should spend a little more and get a '1'

If you're talking 0001 standard, then neither have I, but there are still
some very good ones out there.

You have obviously been lucky enough to see 0001 in the flesh, I have not.

I have seen pics, which looked stunning. But I'm afraid orange peel is how
they come from the factory, if you cannot call the factory finish mint then I think you probably never will see a mint one (by your standards).

Cheers Ian

My standard of mint seems to be a million times above what some peoples are - I get people saying to me in petrol statyions your cars mint - I'd rather call it at work in progress! or I'm selling mint this or mint that and what you get sent is far far from it, the the arguments about money start!

your not the only one mate, it's far from show room condition, the panels have different size gaps on the front and rear bumpers, the bootlid gaps uneven too when I saw it in the flesh. A real let down tbh, but still a very clean tidy example non the less, but I expected it to basically be as it was new... which it almost certainly isn't.

i disagree - for me 0001 is amazing.

Right down to the smallest detail that shows the car is still brand new! I hope its getting looked after now its been road registered.
