stevie p took me out in his 172 last nite and was suprised how quick they are but im pretty sure there are much faster williams out there, but nice cars though

Smokeys standard 182 ran a 14.2 1/4, that wasn't stripped either. I reckon some of the Willy boys might be in for a shock TBH. I've had a blast with one before the T/B conversion and i was impressed, been sat in one and it felt very quick too.

theres a 182 that trys it on with me when im in my williams all time , its as i go to work, down a few mile of backroads then into the vilages , tbh never had a problem with it, dont doubt there not faster cus there should be! id be pretty pissed off if my 13k new clio wasnt faster then a 10year old clio! :wink:

Ive never said mine is actually quicker than a 182. He pulled 3ish car lengths on me to 110 :D But i did think it was pretty crap that it didnt pull more. These cars get loads of hype :roll:

Thats some time if it's true.... most 182's (with a good pilot I might add) seem to make 14.8- 15.0 at best.

I honestly can`t see a std or mildly tuned 182 getting a 14.2 1/4 mile. I went up against Kevs 182 with exhaust/decat and it was quite even with mine running with a airfeed pipe which sucked flat when coming on cam.....after the end of the month I would say it will be back on form at 14.1`s and much better than when we had our play. Not saying it`s impossible but to be a good .7 of a sec faster seems a bit much tbh
