...At least I think it was a Boxter, it was convertible - they all look the same to me.
Anyway. Doing 40mph, dropped into third to overtake him as road opened out into dual carriageway. As I hit the throttle so did he. Both level all the. Into fourth at 5k - 1.1k too early! Now he begins to pull away.
Another gear change to 120mph and his still pulling away slowly but surely.

Gently braking to a halt as I come up to the end of the road. Still loads of smoke from the brakes :?

Now TBH I'm not completely surely he was racing me. For all I know he could've been cruising along minding his own business! But hey, it made me feel good to think that my boyracer was nearly as fast as his knob extension![/i]

The old 2.5s only have about 200bhp and weigh about 1250kgs, so they aren't that quick. Would be reasonably to assume they're about the same as a decent Williams (and 182)?

Hmm, ive driven a Boxster. Loverly cars. Handle very nicely. Fantastic engine sound. Overall a great driving experience.

Definately on my 'to buy' list.
