When my car is iddling...with my foot on the clutch its fine, take it off (not in gear) it makes a small kind of wineing noise???

It's had a full new clutch..............could it be the release bearing, being noisey, is that bad?

Done it ever since the williams engine went in.....ive always put it down to it being stripped and holey lol

Any Ideas?

if the noise goes away when the clutch is pressed then yes its the release bearing, mine has started making the same kinda noise but not fussed lol

did you apply copper grease to the shaft splines?

Yep, unless the noise gets significantly worse all of a sudden, then just ignore it.

When your gearbox ends up on the floor, you can start worrying about it.
