View Full Version : Soldering PH1 ECU - Help!

Hi there i bought a phase1 ECU of a member of here and have just opened it up and its different to the image of the ECU in the guide

but on the ECU i have the chip is in a different place, and im almost positive its a 30pin not a 28 pin, the chip is in a different location on the ECU i have its in the location i have coloured blue:

Can any1 tell me if this is the wrong ECU?

bought it off here off mikey16valver and he assured me it was the right 1 :(

whats the numbers on the top


that will tell you 100% if it is or not

the board doesnt even remotly look complex enough

Thats unlike any ECU I've had dealings with - I'd say thats a deffo no no!

Ive never seen an ecu like that either, count the pins, might be a different design of ecu not a phase 2 one is it? think the ph2 chip is a different shape altogether though....
