Changing Steering Rack Gaiters

Hi :)

Both gaiters on the steering rack (power steering model), are gone, so I need to change them. I have the ones from GSF (not quick fit wrap arounds.. these are full boots with cable ties).

What's the best/easiest way to get the boot on please?

you have to take the track rod ends off which means having it tracked up afterwards.

Quickest way is to cut the old en off, take the track rod out the hub and then off the tie rod. bang new gaitor on, tie up and put the track rod end back on.

hardest bit is getting the PAS breather pipes back into the gaitor!!!! unreal.
